how do I remove oil pressure relief valve

Why would you want too ?? The oil pressure relief valve serves a purpose ?? It's meant to relive an over- pressure caused by the change in oil viscosity do to the change in ambient temperature But if you take the oil pan off and remove the oil pump and drive the keeper pin out and remove the spring & plunger Now you will have no oil pressure and make scrap out of a good motor Next time ask a more intelligent question , Evidently you don't know much about cars

I am doing a pump replacement but the manual does not any instruction on the relief valve. Thanks for the information on removing the relief valve. however I have another question do the holes on the valve need to be installed in a specific direction?

That has to be the stupiderest answer I've ever read on one of these sites. I think I'll go elsewhere thanks but no thanks. Lmfoa
