2007 Nissan Armada front heater or a/c does not blow air out vents.

Asked by Richard Dec 09, 2013 at 02:04 PM about the 2007 Nissan Armada SE 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have replaced the blower motor assembly, variable blower controller module, and relay. Any ideas? It's cold outside!! Lol! At first it went from normal to blowing only on high for both the heater and a/c up front. Then it made a popping noise, and I smelled a slight burning electrical scent. After that, it went off completely! Here's the catch, the rear heater and a/c works just fine?!  Not sure what to do next!

the on switch itself may have fried, shorted, a fuse should be burnt from that pop

My friends 04 Armada has the same issue. It was blowing high then a series of pops that sounded like someone was tapping inside the dash with a hammer occurred and the air flow stopped but the rear blows fine.

It is the hepha filter located in the glove box blocks all air flow
