2007 Nissan Quest A/C blows hot air only.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
2007 Nissan Quest A/C blows hot air only. The double fans are not turning and
neither the compressor. However, the belt attached to the compressor is
rotating. Could this be an electrical problem?

Sounds like it's low on Freon.
Two so-called professionals has already put in Freon. The A/C would only blow cold air for about 10 minutes and start to blow hot air thereafter. One mechanic thinks it’s the evaporator but he’s not sure. I know a lot of things can go wrong with an AC unit. However, it’s frustrating when you pay to have your car diagnosed only for someone to tell you, “you have to put the Freon in the car to see if it’ll work.” They’ve charged me twice. Can it be the pulley, clutch, relay, leak or electrical problem? Someone please help! I have 4 grand kids and the heat is unbearable during th summer time. My mid windows does not roll down.

i have exactly the same problem Nissan Quest 2013, 2 different "experts" told me it was only low 1/4 in Freon and charge me for it . I know that will not fix it , any advice?
I drive a 2007 nissan quest van and the ac unit has just STOP blowing cold air out. The air is blowing hot. One mechanic has said that all fans are not working at all. Does that ever happens?
If your vehicle is leaking the Freon, check the hose for the AC. The compressor was fine. After putting in the Freon and you get cold air for a short time, check underneath of your car for a leak. My mechanic was able to find a small crack in my hose. This was not a noticeable problem at first. I paid $180 to replace the main hose for the AC. The AC has been working over a year now.
