Issues starting and then turning off

Just got a 2007 nissan sentra S. Took it to have it checked
out. Everything checked out well. A few weeks later every
time I go to start the car, lags and then turns off. I've had
this happen while I was making a left turn, thank goodness
I was able to make it to the side with my emergency lights.
Other times are when it's left for hours during work. When I
go to start it, lags and then turns off. So far it's happened 6
times. I'm going to a mechanic this Friday but any help
before then would be great!!

Were they able to fix the problem? I have a 2006 Sentra with 127k miles, recently it starting giving me trouble accelerating and exactly the same thing happened while turning. So far i've changed the maf, since that was the code I was getting afterwards and the cam shaft position sensor.
