windows will not go up or down and drivers door wont lock

Asked by GuruD5W4 Mar 21, 2017 at 04:12 PM about the 2006 Porsche 911 Carrera S Coupe RWD

Question type: General

Since disconnecting battery and putting a trickle charger on, when restarting
the engine (with the charger on) the window will not fully rise to close position
and door wont lock and PSM failure indicator comes on.

Try jumpstarting the car, and with the cables still connected, try the window again. Sounds to me you have a bad battery that's not supplying enough voltage.
