Leak into trunk

Asked by danielle Oct 03, 2018 at 06:01 PM about the 2007 Buick LaCrosse CXL FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've joined the leak in my lacrosse trunk. Found the
2 holes everyone has plugged or taped and sealed
them. Still water in trunk on passenger side. From
water testing its running down roof channel along
back window and somehow into the trunk. Can't
figure it out. No sunroof so no clogged drain tube.
Also I have no idea how long this has been going
on since I inherited this car in 2016. Thanks for any
input.

Hows the trunk weather seal look? May also want to lay inside trunk and look up and see if any pinholes rusted through anywhere letting water in.

Had the back glass removed sealed around it paying special attention to top right area and replaced the glass. So far its been okay
