93 caprice classic back lights

My 93 caprice instrument cluster not lighting up but the digital speedometer and E brake, and other indicator lights work, also the turn signal dont flash anymore just stay on and the signal lights dont flash either just stay on. And finally the all the back light do not come on when i cut the light on but the hazards work and flash. Any help would be appreciated.

First, check your fuses. One might be blown. If that's good I'd check the instrument cluster grounds and if you have an aftermarket stereo, start checking there. Hope that helps! Jim

update I did check the fuses all good. I changed the Headlamp Switch also but not the dimmer wheel. I just notice that the climate control lights are not on either. But when i drove it for about an hour the lights did come on once until i cut the car off.
The climate control illumination is separate from the instrument cluster illumination. When my '93 Caprice got older I had to literally pluck the climate control panel with my fingers to get it to light up. I'd suggest removing the instrument cluster and clean the connectors in the back. It's probably never been apart and it's probably very dusty back there creating a bad connection. Same with the climate control panel. Your instrument cluster is all electronic, there's no speedometer cable back there. You will need to unclip the string for the shift indicator which is attached to a collar on the steering column. If you have manual climate control there's a cable attached to the temperature slider.
