all it was is the signal relay underneath the dash to the left of the steering wheel, it is round and silver, but theres 2 of them , 1 is for the turn signals and the other 1 is for the hazard, my symptoms were that the hazzard lights will flash but not the signal, Im just glad it wasnt any other expensive component and hard to fix, like the signal switch or anything like that, thank you, hope this helps
I have changed e the flasher switch I have changed the relay all the fuses are good all the boards is good and I put a brand new turn signal switch in I still have no turn signal light
You always start at the end unit needing power with a test light and just follow the wires back to the source of power. Today I found a connector so green and corroded contact in it was broken for the front left flashers.
Also you need to check all bulbs to make sure they are working and not blown. That makes it all go crazy. Chevy turn brake harness runs down drivers side and crosses over front and rear to the passenger side. There are several "plugs" that can get corroded. Use of a test light is the fastest way ever to trace the brake in the power flow. If it is flashing on one side and not the other side of the connector/plug the plug is corroded and needs cleaned. and greased.
