have a 2007 Grand Prix, charging system failure came on, lost power steering and temp jumped up. HELP! What's the problem

snowing and felt like tires slipped then the charging system failure came on.

Could be the serpentine belt - Power steering, alternator (charging system) and water pump (temperature) are all powered by the belt. If the tensioner went the belt would slip and underpower all those components. Open the hood and see if there is any slack in the belt.
