my ac compressor on my 2007 grand prix kick off and on while I am driving than it wont cut back on

my 2007 Pontiac grand prix ac compressor kicks off an on when I am driving and in park I change out the relay and its still doing the same thing what is the problem?

Make sure the radiator fan is working properly as it also cools the A/C condenser. Also and under charged or overcharged A/C can cause similar issues.
