Not charging

2007 Pontiac Grand Prix cooling fans cycle on and
the alternator stops charging, the battery is ok and
the alternator is new, will not start charging again
until the key is cycled off and on again. Then it
repeats?

No not the alternator! Or battery! Says that in the description of the problem but thanks.

New rebuilt alternators sometimes are junk right out of the box.Again sounds like a ALTERNATOR ISSUE!!.
