How do I connect the uconnect bluetooth radio with my sprint cell phone?
Asked by resale1 Jul 30, 2007 at 03:57 PM about the 2007 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4WD
Question type: General
bought jeep as demo had no book for radio and can not find anything on internet for how to get the uconnect to work with sprint cell phone. I really don't want to pay to have this set up if I can do it. the radio has a button I push with picture of phone on it, it says uconnect not available, what does that mean? do I have to pay a monthly charge to activate it or something?
Thank you

it's true - whether its what you want to hear or not - it's apparantly cheaper to use the same head units than make special ones for wranglers - i was bummed upon hearing it too

Jeep is working out the bugs for the uconnect because when you have the roof off and windows down in the 4 door Wrangler the noise activates it...
I inquired to Mopar with the very same question `cause, it's now illegal to drive with a cell phose in Quebec. Mopar does not have the connect for the Wrangler and doesn't know when it will be available.
Buy an after market head unit ! I was bummed too when I could not connect does any one know if the nav. Will work ?i bought a $175 disc and it still doesn't work
