Car sells process thru Cargurus is not clear

T searched your website, it is not clear how the sale complete.
Say a buyer have seen and indicated that he is buying
1. Does seller sign the title and give it to buyer ot send it to Car gurus?
2. Does buyer pay the seller direct or pays cargurus for the car?,if he pays car gurus when and how cargurus pay the seller?

From all the posts on this subject I can say you are not alone in your confusion. I would never allow CG's to be an intermediary when I am selling or buying a car.
I very much doubt there are many real transactions thru them, the whole process is vague and undefined , there is no online help , you could call them,their phone reps not knowledgeable (that is if you are patient to survive the phone line hold). It does seem like a advertising website that makes money from their website ads for third parties (insurances, financing,.... etc) and little to do with real car sales. Could be a complete waste of time try to buy or sell car here.
