RPM HIGH. PLEASE HELP!

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi everyone, i have a little question, is a little thing but I'm
worried about that. Yesterday i put air in my tires because
the light was on.. so when i put air the light was off and all
good but when i started my car today in the morning i saw
it start with high RPM (2nd velocity and over if I
accelerate) but the thing is the motor doesn't sound like if
it is hard or high, I'm pretty sure it is in the RPM clock
Tachometer. I'll appreciate any help.. thanks in advance!
PD: My English is not good at all, I'm so sorry about that.

Inflating the tires has nothing to do with engine RPM. Chances are you have a small vacuum leak at the intake. These are quiet motors, so one could run at a higher RPM and the only clue would be the tachometer reading - so I wouldn't start blaming the tachometer itself just yet. I'd start be looking for a vacuum leak.
