My 2003 G35 has recently experienced this issue, At first it was intermittant. Now it's constant. I was told I had to replace (or refurbish) the 'radio' and that this was a fairly common problem (possibly a bad solder joint ?). Not cheap to repair but I guess it has to be done. At least I can still control 'radio' from steering wheel but not 'climate controls', etc.
