2007 Chevy Aveo

Asked by Lilhart_1026 Feb 07, 2019 at 04:07 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet Aveo LS Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2007 Chevy Aveo. I had the timing belt
changed. It ran fine for a couple months and now it
only starts when it wants to. Doesn't matter if its
cold or hot outside. It cranks over but won't start.
When I do get it started, it runs great. I can drive it
an then turn it off an it will normally start right up
again. Then maybe later on in the day it won't start
again. I can sit for a little while an it might start up
for me. I never kno when I'm gonna get stranded
somewhere. Spark plugs & wires good. Any help
would be greatly appreciated..

Replace air filter clean throttle with throttle body cleaner and add fuel injector cleaner to gas tank.

Thanks firebird338 I had my sisters boyfriend look at it an he found a hose leak an fixed that an he got me the fuel injector cleaner but I haven't filled the tank yet so haven't put it in yet. He checked the air filter an said it looked fine. So far its been starting up just fine so we'll see. I'm crossing my fingers.. lol
