Whats wrong with my car? Several "helpful" suggestions, but like some more

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Hard start when hot normally takes 2 hours to start
again, loses power when push on gas, backfires
occasionally when I try to start it. Idles fast and will
die unless you continuously give it gas but can't
push on pedal to much, It only has 50 thousand
miles on It. Check engine light will not come on.

Sounds like it needs a complete tune up then go from their fuel filter, cap and rotor, plug wires new spark plugs , bad fuel filter will cause some of those issues the heat issues could be a cracked cap or rotor then when it cools down it will start it probably never had a tune up or the fuel filter changed
Could also be a bad sensor could be a bad TPS, (throttle positioning sensor) or cam timing sensor, you can take it to AutoZone and they will plug the scanner in it see if it's throwing a code. My friend the other day had the same issue and it was a $40 dollar 02 sensor, that's an oxygen sensor, AutoZone or O'Reilly's I think Napa might put the scanner on it too

Lady who owned it had oil changed every year but saw hard start issues on car fax several times over years. Maintenance checks were done but no tune ups.
By the way that's pretty strange for that year of car to only have 50k on it did you make sure those were documented miles the (A) box was checked on the title to make sure those were the actual miles? Their was a ton of mileage and speedometer tampering back in those years
Ok hard starts that can be a ton of things too from starter to even timing chain to bad smog pump or a bearing going out on a pulley . Not trying to scare you it's most likely a simple problem to a sensor to just needing a good tune up I would go that route first
By the way and I'm not being condescending so don't take this wrong but the oil needs to be changed about every 3k now seeing that it only had 50k on it maybe she only drove it 3k miles a year which is probably about right

One owner, older lady also. She put 1500 to 2000 miles a year on it. I have car fax with mileage when she had oil change at the dealership done yearly. It seems that last2 years it was barely drove.
Well it sounds like you got an awesome deal so I hope some if this helped but give those a try and let me know how you make out I hope it fixes your issues good luck
I would replace the coolant temperature sensor (2 pin) as its cheap and could potentially be the issue
