My old starter went bad. When I turned the key all it would do is click. So i went and got a

Hit it with a hammer! Not even kidding, just try it. I had the same issue when I first put a starter in a pathfinder. Also make sure the batterie cable didn't fall out of it or something. It doesn't sound like the starter is getting any power.
