hood release cable broke

The cable snapped & tore apart while
remaining locked. How do I go about
getting hood open to fix problem. It is a
2000 Chrysler town and country 3.8l.

You'll likely have to get up underneath it with a pair of pliers to yank on the cable, then replace it once hood is open.
