Have you checked the level, color and smell of your transmission fluid?

thanks for the help......but yes, the level/smell/color=all is good.... when I am able to accelerate from a stop, it seems to shift much better.... that, however, is not always possible.....again, thanks Mark

Well it is a Chrysler van. They are notorious for bad transmissions. I would take it to a reputable mechanic who does transmission work as well. Have them look at it or get a B G transmission flush.

well, one year later & it still hesitates at very slow take off.....a tranny place said not to worry about it........but I do.......this car is in very good shape........I have no issues other than that initial hesitation...thanks for the help
