battery or alternator, when you hear that click noise when you try to start it that means there is not enough power to start the car, you might still have power for the lights to turn on but its not enough. go to autozone and they will test your battery and alternator for free

After thinking, are the lights strong, or dim? If strong after jiggling the ignition, possible ignition switch, or a loose ground. Either way, if you're knowledgeable with a multimeter you'll find your gremlin
