Battery Drain !!!!!

Asked by JessB86 Jun 28, 2015 at 04:58 PM about the 2002 Buick Century Custom Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Brand new battery and car ean good for 3
days no problems. Today went to start the
car and battery was drained. This the second
battery we had to get in a week. Alternator
is not the issue because its new. Im leaning
towards a bad starter or ignition switch.
What can be the cause of the drain?

Just because the alternator is new don't mean it can't be bad.

You could have a parasitic drain on the battery. Something is pulling juice out that shouldn't be. Check this out, he is really good at what he does https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KF1gijj03_0
