There are not a lot of performance parts made for the 3800 V6 engine without opening it up and changing things like the cam. The first place to start is the exhaust.....to stay legal you must have a cat converter, but you can install a higher flow one and change the stock muffler to a performance muffler. When you are working on the exhaust, clean up the inside of the firewall side exhaust manifold.(see picture) there are ragged edges and excess metal...if you can weld, you can modify that manifold and make it flow much better....someone may make custom exhaust hedders but probably not worth the $$.

I failed to post the picture of the exhaust manifold....you are looking into the pipe that connects to the converter. The ragged part is about 4 inches up and you need to cut it out with whatever equipment you have.
