Buick LeSabre engine

Asked by OldManInABuick May 06, 2018 at 01:02 PM about the 2003 Buick LeSabre Limited Sedan FWD

Question type: Car Customization

I have a 2003 Buick LeSabre limited that I really love. But I
have been wondering if doing an engine swap for a V8
would be possible. I know it won't be an easy swap
necessarily but I wanted to hear some thoughts.

Mine is an '04 Custom. The V8 from the GXP Bonneville may go in, but you'd most likely need a custom subframe, or maybe try to make the one out of the Bonneville fit. Plus the computer, wiring harness, etc. Not sure if anyone has tried this before. I'm going with the L67 for mine.
