It sure can. Some work when cold and fail when hot.

When it happens, be ready to check for power so you can narrow down the likely causes. Make sure all the connectors are clean and tight. Pull the relays out and use dielectric grease on the connections. --- Unplugging and plugging back in wipes the metal parts together and that cleans them. The nonconducting dielectric grease seals out air and elements to prevent corrosion.

My 2004 buick lesabre custom is burning through ignition control modules like it's it's job.... This car has left me stranded so many times I lost count and it's to the point it disgust me to even look at. I ride my motorcycle in 8 degree snowy weather rather than trust that damn car to get me to work... But it never fails as soon as I change the ignition control module it fires right up and doesn't miss a beat. A few months later it starts randomly stalling but still start back up until it just continues to get worse and worse and then won't start back up. I don't know what steps to take next but winter is almost here and id like to be able to drive the car I pay insurance on all year round and not have to risk my life riding a motorcycle in the winter... HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

Not to mention since I don't trust it I don't drive it a lot so I had some hoses dry rott so I just had a bunch of work done to the car just to have it die again like anyways. I have bad credit so a new car is out of the question... I just don't know what to do. I have an unreliable car that shits on me every chance it gets...
