They make a jumper pack now that is easy to use, just hook up the cables from it. Otherwise using another car, hook up the jumper cables to the positive (red) and the negative, (black) to the dead vehicle, and then hook up the positive onto the positive post of the running vehicle then the negative cable to something metal, is what is recommended, but can go to the neg. on the battery.

It's just a matter of hooking up jumper cables from one car to another car, just make sure positive (red) goes to positive (red), and negative (black) to negative (black). http://www.dummies.com/home-garden/car-repair/how-to-jump-start-a-car/

Since the battery in a 2000-2005 Lesabre is under the back seat cushion, under the hood (front passenger-side area) is the terminal. The positive terminal BOLT is under the red plastic box that rotates up. Connect the positive (red) jumper cable to the bolt securely. Connect the negative (black) cable to a metal, unpainted surface (since there is no negative bolt or post that a jumper cable in that immediate area connect to). Let the vehicle run for about five minutes (with RPMs around 1000-1500) to develop a solid amount of charge to increase chances to start the car.

Manual says to NOT use the negative ground on the battery, as it blows outbyhe Le Sabre electrical system. Where under the hood is a nonpainted area to attach the ground to?
