Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 02 lesabre and the air blows thru the defroster
and a little thru floor vents. Everything else seems to be
working as far as heat to air & air speed just doesn't
change to the vents. What's the cause for this?

The system has lost vacuum. When this happens it defaults to defrost for safety reasons. Look for a broken or disconnected vacuum hose at or near the firewall. Hope that helps! Jim

2002 Buick lesabre: Wasn't changing from defrost to vent. I found what the problem was. It's the mode actuator located on the drivers side not heat actuator behind the glove box. Thank y'all for the information
