Car turns over but wont start, changed fuel filter now it starts for a few seconds then stops

Is check engine light on? If so need to get codes. Auto zone will do this for free. Then post codes back on here. Could be any number of things. Check fuel pressure at fuel rail. This will insure that fuel pump is putting out enough pressure. Could also be dirty/faulty idle air control valve or throttle plate, stuck open pcv valve, stuck open egr valve or possibly a vacuum leak.

I have a 2002 Buick LeSabre 3.8 engine fwd I had to get a junk yard transmission because mine blew a hole on the passenger side where the cv axle goes in and now that the junk yard transmission is in now it wont start wont do anything just click's at the fuses box under the hood. jump start it cranks, sometimes the dash lights come on and some times they don't, It's never done this before so I'm not sure whats going on. I NEED HELP PLEASE also checked all ground wires and everythings tight and the security light is not on and not flashing so I'm just so lost right now.

check to make sure your ac compressor is turning as I had the same experience with car turning over but not starting. turns out ac compressor was not turning, had no money for new compressor so I got a pulley bypass and once i put that in it worked. as soon as i popped the serpentine belt off initially it cranked right up, but obviously don't want to run it without that piece on.
