2003 Buick Lesabre Won't Crank.

Asked by Tshea0307 Sep 11, 2019 at 06:27 PM about the 2003 Buick LeSabre Custom Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Having problems with my 2003 Buick Lesabre. It was
running, but misfiring on two cylinders, which I linked back
to the ICM. I replaced it with a new one and new coil packs.
But after words that car working even crank, just made a
clicking from the starter.
Had the started check by two places and both said the
problem isn't from the starter itself. Battery is new and
clean along with wires. Any help would be amazing!

make sure batt. terminals are tight , maybe the starter is bad , other things can go wrong by pure coincidence

Battery terminals are clean and tight. Stater was checked at Autozone and Napa, both said it was a good starter. I also tried to put on the old ICM and it won't crank even with the old which use to start it.

make sure the batt. is charged , the mis fire could be an injector , what do the plugs look like ? Don't make assumptions , do it by the book .
