Flashing CEL is very bad for your wallet. This means if driven that you will ruin your catalytic converter. Too much unburned fuel getting to the converter. Pull codes and go from there.

In my case I have the engine light always on (sensors are fried) in my 2002 custom, but on humid days or after a rainy day I have a bad start up. Sputters a bit but takes 5 min or so to heat up and evaporate the left over condensation. More or less a distributor cap and cable problem that I’m too lazy to replace. Check your battery also, see if you alternator is fine and probably has something to do with your catalytic converter.
