Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey guys I recently had a new radiator put in
along with a new thermostat and my car is
still overheating,  my temp Gage moves
back and forth til tonight and got all the way
to the red where the light came on and my
heater is blowing cold air (was working fine
before my repairs)  it cooled off enough for
me to make it home but as I was pulling in it
made it's way back to the red and I noticed
smoke from under my Hood, I have no clue
what could be wrong now

Are you sure it is overheating or is the temp sensor bad. A bad sensor will tell the ECM the engine is hot and the ECM will retard the timing and richen the mixture along with other thing like turning on the warning light....make sure it is actually overheating
