Quits in the middle of the road

Asked by Paul May 29, 2020 at 05:31 PM about the 2004 Buick LeSabre Custom Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I can be going down the road and Brandy ( my 03-
04)) Buick lasaber custom) will randomly loose all
power and stall out. Sometimes I can let it coast
and it will rev back up and be fine. Other times we
sit for an HR or more trying to get it to run.
Trembling and shaking till it either stalls out or revs
back up. Any ideas would help I'm at a loss and it's
my only way to get around.

Your information is not enough to troubleshoot your problem. Does the engine light come on, up on the dash? If so you need to get the trouble codes read at local auto parts place for free. Those codes will probably give some idea of where to start checking. If you have no codes I would guess the problem is with fuel. Since fuel problems often do not throw codes. If this is the case...there is still a good bit of sleuthing to do to identify the problem.

There's so many different problems being answered but it really is the same answer. Ppl THINK their problems are being fixed with different sensors being replaced. It fixes it for awhile because the WIRES were MOVED around during replacement. Until they vibrate back to the positions theyre connecting on... it seems like the problem is fixed. All of this reverts back to piss poor guage of wiring. In my opinion.
