No Spark on 1 and 4. Changed Coil, still no spark. What could cause this?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2005 Buick LeSabre, runs rough, check engine light on.  No spark for 1 and 4.  
Changed coil, still no spark.

If one of the plugs is fouled out it can cause neither to fire if they both come off same coil.

so if coil and plug changed and still have the some problem do you think it would have a short in electrical harness

there is module right under the coils, thats the problem

Coil module is likely bad. I have the same problem on my Buick LeSabre. Coils are good, swapped them out, same problem, same plugs. Going to get a new module right now.
