92 Buick riviera, changed thermostat, temp. sensor, flushed radiator. Runs hot down town, and when I turn on air. My dash lights going on and off all the time. Could that contribute to the problem.

I don't know why the cluster is off/on..however if you haven't already be sure and check the radiator hoses to determine if they are collapsing which is restricting proper water flow.
