I have a 92 caprice ive noticed when I brake my car shakes ivd heard one person say maybe a rotor? And ive noticed that my engine seems at times to be slipping or sounding like it wants to cut off?

yes, pretty sure you need new brakes. if the engine wants to die, check for vacuum leaks. when was the last time the old girl had a tune up?

It sounds like your first idea was right, better check those rotors. Also, you might have an idle air control valve problem. Wouldn't hurt to scan the computer for codes. You can't use a standard code reader on cars older than 96, there is a trick using a paper clip in the obd port. Its fairly easy, and involves counting check engine light flashes. Google the step by step procedure. Sometimes there can be stored codes even with out a CEL.
