have a 2000 chev 3/4 ton 4wd truck and it is missing and back fires and just not running right

I have changed plugs and wires, air fliter , fuel fliter. I have no codes coming up on it.

I'm thinking crank or cam angle sensor if either are bad it would run very rough or not at all. not to mention it also won't show misfire codes if either is bad or poss loose, full of debris . OBD II RESEARCH SENSORS TO SEE IF YOU HAVE THEM ON A 2K MODEL.
