What are the differences between chev 6 lug 3/4 ton and 8 lug.

The list actually goes way further than what tom even wanted to list. Its pretty much taking a standard 2500 and putting every chassis part (steering, suspension, brakes, tougher differentials, on and on....) on steroids. Usually the main difference between a 1/4 1/2 and 1 ton is suspension, with a few other tweaks. The HD is whole different breed.

early 8lugs diffs had I believe 115mm rotors, late models were 135mm of sheer terror.
