My 97 Chevy 2500 5.7 vortec is missing out. Not to sure what it is but it seems like its not getting enough gas maby? The fuel pump has a squeal constantly, not loud but a squeal. It seem to cut out more when it sits facing down hill and it is harder to start when facing down hill. It smokes and gets flooded it seems. It's not burning a drop of oil. Might be the fuel pump or filter? Or none of these? HELP PLEASE!

The fuel pump should make a buzzing noise, not a squeal. Have your fuel pressure tested. And check the bleed diwn rate of the fuel pressure
