1992 chevy lumina won't start

Asked by Steelreign69 Aug 23, 2011 at 10:48 AM about the 1992 Chevrolet Lumina Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1992 lumina with the 3.1 V-6 with
41,612 miles on it. I went to start it this
morning and when I turned the key, I got
nothing, didn't click or anything. I am
guessing it's maybe the ignition module.
Anybody have any ideas?

Fusible Link? I had that very same silent experience twice... it was due to a bad fusible link. I believe most of them are located down by the Starter. But first, maybe you should check your battery connections real good, at the battery, starter, and your grounds to the engine... then check your starter... see if you can jump it and get it to spin.
