What do you want for free? What exactly is YOUR issue, some things you can't fix in your driveway unless you have all the tools and diagnostic equipment and that can be more expensive than having a mechanic look at the car. We see a lot of question without details, so we can't help fully.

There are certain things that should be left to a pro. The airbag system and the air conditioning refrigeration system for example. Those two things can literally land you in the hospital or the cemetery if you don't know how to work on them. Other problems, such as those involving the TPMS, ABS, and BCM problems require specific tools and equipment to properly diagnose and repair them successfully. I'll tell you what questions annoy me! "How do I bypass the factory security system?" I ripped out my ignition lock cylinder and now it won't start with a screwdriver! What do I do?" Any type of security system failure MUST be handled by the Dealer or a reputable locksmith! Unless it's an old GM VATS security system it can NOT be repaired by the owner! It's as simple as that! When someone posts "I tried the reset procedures and my car still won't run and the security light is still on, why?" I really hit the ceiling!! Those magical relearn procedures are a part of the security system repair process that only works for a very specific and small percentage of repairs! Nobody answering questions here knows your skill level either! I personally don't want to EVER get a post saying that I advised someone and they're in the hospital or dead! You might be a highly qualified SAE Certified Mechanic with the most state of the art equipment sitting in your garage. Or you might be a 14 year old kid whose never worked on a vehicle before and you're trying to fix a vehicle with a pair of pliers and a screwdriver! We have no way of knowing! Chances are that if you're asking a question here, you're not a SAE Certified Mechanic!! So, now that my rant is over, what is your problem and how can we help you? Jim

When it is obvious the person asking the question is in over their head, the best answer is to see a good mechanic.
