Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1997 Chevy C1500 W/T  2WD 4.3L FI OHV 6cyl 320,000mi
gauges and fuel mgmt went wild before failure. Currently SHE CRANKs but
no spark, fuel, accessory position actvation, fuel pump energy, radio,
gauges, there is a loud knock when starting, (bad starter?, missing flywheel
teeth?). Main thing is there is no change when the truck is put in the
accessory position. I'm thinking that i need to replace the ignition switch;
maybe also the starter and/or flywheel, or loose bolts on the torque
converter.

First step would be to check all fuses as far as the noise without listening to it it could be the items u mentioned

As many miles on it, I wouldn't be surprised it the engine finally gave up

Ok, check spark at plugs, if u got spark, spray some brake cleaner in the throttle body and see if it'll run for a little bit
