Question type: General
When maintaining a steady cruising speed it sputters and flutters at 2000 to 2100 rpm. It stops when accelerate more or coast. Only sputters when trying to hold at a steady speed.

put in a double dose of cleaner in your gas tank...then drive it...then let me know if that helped.
I have tried all the fuel additive /injector cleaners........ cleaned the MAF etc.... have driven severval tanks of gas through it with various additives. If you drop it down in low gear it does the sputtering right about the 2000 rpm mark again. New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, PCV valve, compression check, cat checked for clog.....yada yada yada
ok, check the fuel pressure, pressure regulator valve, 50lbs to start.Engine running min 58 and it will rise with need/demand, you didnt power flush the injectors.try that .
Thanks guys. I will get back to you. I appreciate your input.
Ok guys. Got the truck running smooth again. After all the new parts that were throwing codes and vacuum checks, fuel pressure checks we replaced the distributor assembly and it's running like a new one again. The gear was really worn. Thanks for all your input and suggestions!
