my stock 350 broke. Now a friend has a new 355 1st will it work and 2nd it needs a cam is it worth doing or ? the price is 600. what do you think..

the previous owner of my truck installed an after market oil cooler. While
driving on the freeway a line broke.. result One very solid 350.. Now a good
friend has offered top sell me a fresh built 355 for $600. but it needs a
camshaft, is this do able?

AHHHH..IS IT BORED OUT..MUST BE.. YOU GOING TO USE YOU INTAKE SYSTEM?? WHAT YEAR ENGINE IS IT... OR YOU WONT BE ABLE TO MIX SOME PARTS...ALSO... YOU COULD ADD A LITTLE MORE CAME TO IT,LIKE AN RV CAM...CAM AND KIT AS LOW AS 100 BUCKS..
