Why does it Feels like tranny taking off on 3rd gear when shifted into drive

Even if shifted manually into 1st feels like 2nd.once it gets going on 2nd I
manually shift it back to drive

its in default mode to to an electrical problem, more than like your check engine light is on? have it scaned and tested
