Reinstall Steering Wheel

Asked by TheMayor3352 May 15, 2017 at 07:27 PM about the 1994 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Silverado Extended Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I can't get the plate that is notched out for the steering lock,
pushed down far enough to be able to put the retainer ring
back in to place and install the steering wheel. Can anyone
help?

You need a tool to push the lock plate down. I don't know if links were here... https://tinyurl.com/lhxl6dh If not do a search for steering wheel lock plate tool
