Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey guys, I have a 94 chevy 1500 with manual 4x4.
Ive owned this truck for less than 6 months, and
most of those months have been in the winter, so
ive had to use my 4x4 quite a bit and it worked
perfectly well until one day i tried shifting it in to 4h
and the light that says its in 4h turned on like
normal but it didnt feel like it was in 4h, so i shifted
back in to 2h and then back in to 4h and the light
flickered and turned off. And stayed off, and now i
have no 4wd at all. When i shift it in to 4h it feels like
it shifts properly but my front end wont lock in. Any
suggestions? We’re forcasted for snow in the next
few days and my truck doesnt do well without 4wd
in the snow. Its my daily driver and i need it to get
to work. Please help me out

First see if your getting power to the front axel actuator , Second using an ohm meter see if you have resistace or if the circuit is open if it shows open then replace the actuator , there about 75 dollars
