94 Chec K1500 Suburban w/5.7 TBI

Asked by sniper60 Jul 20, 2018 at 11:28 PM about the 1994 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Silverado 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 94 5.7 Burb and when it gets hot soaked won't start unless I gas it. Sometimes it still won't start until it cools down. I'm at a loss, it seems it would be an engine compartment component issue, as it runs great when cold.

If the coolant temp sensor (the one for the ecu) is giving a false reading it could cause that as could fuel lines that are too close to the exhaust
