My 93 1500 chevy truck won't go in to gear I changed solenoid 1 & 2 and nothing I did some more research and it said my ignition switch interlock may be the one causing me not to go into any gears.

A 4l60e trans defaults to 3rd gear with no power to it. It will never not have any gear for an electrical reason. Either your shift cable broke and your not actually shifting the trans or there is a fluid pressure problem (worn pump or leaky valve body, ect...)
What pump would I be looking for? And what kind of valve and I don't have a trann cable on my 93? Thanks for narrowing it down for me.
No, you won't have a detent cable on a 93. The front fluid pump is on the front of the trans driven by the motor. Accessible after removing the trans. The valve body is inside the pan above the filter. If your not experienced with trans work I don't recommend messing with the valve body. But first make sure the lever on the side of the trans is moving as you change gears.
It is still moving while it trying get in a gear.what would be the best way to try to locate the problem just follow lines?
Under the driver side of the truck on the side of the trans is the shift lever. It should move as you move the lever inside the truck. Please do this with the truck off to avoid getting run over. Seems like common sense but it happens.
