Question type: Car Customization

I have a problem with my 1992 Chevrolet truck K1500 5.7L it barely stays
idling let alone running while I drive it. The service engine soon light flickers
fast while I'm driving most of the time (it's been 2 months) I changed the rotor,
cap, spark plugs, and the fuel filter. It seems to run better on a dry sunny
rather than a cold or rainy day. Any suggestions?

Check and see if you can have the codes pulled from the truck, it will give you an idea of what going on...

Also check for a vacuum leak, snug up the intake manifold bolts, and take the TBI off to check the base gasket. Clean the TBI good once off, may want to pull the Air Idle Control Valve and clean that port and the AIC out good. Also check the spark plug wires, if there old, may be time to change out. If you have a digital multi meter, spark plug wires check 8000Ω per foot.
