My truck has been puffing white smoke out of the left tailpipe for some years, now there is oil blowing out of the left exhaust pipe. Any answers why?

Bad valve guide seal,s in head on that side, letting oil come through the exhaust,or bad ring on piston.

As T_S_T said, valve guide seal or piston ring / cylinder issues.

Pull the spark plugs and look for an oily one or one that has gunk built up on it. That would be the cylinder where the problem is.
